Masquerade is one of my favorites!  Blue-eyed black overo, she stands only 26" as a yearling.  She's as sweet as she is adorable.

Twizzler is one of our home-grown mares; I was present at her birth and immediately fell in love with her wild markings.

Patches is a cute little pinto that was born on our farm. She's correct and very sweet and ready to go in any direction you choose.

Tesla is a lovely non-fading black mare with a wide blaze set off by blue eyes.  She has a sweet temperament to go along with her gorgeous looks.

Events

When I purchase broodmares for our farm, of course health and conformation are paramount, but beyond that the next things I look for are temperament and size. Many of our foals are sold to families who want them for companions for themselves or their children and grandchildren, so I want my horses to be very people-friendly.

I also prefer mares that are small. To me part of the charm of the miniature is the very petite size. None of our mares is taller than 32”, with the exception of “Frosty” who is 34” and can be ridden by small children. More about that later!

I don’t place as much emphasis on pedigrees in our mares because our stallions can contribute the desirable bloodlines to our foals. Even so, some of our mares do carry the most recognizable names in the business.
